Adam Downey (Project Coordinator)
I have done many jobs over years, including 4 years in the military where I completed a 7-month tour to Afghanistan, I have worked as a fitness instructor, and as a long-distance lorry driver off and on for 13 years, a job I learned to love!! Having started becoming involved with the charity when it was first founded, I took great pleasure in participating in the weekly Friday walks with the Marauders. In 2021 I became a trustee for Marauders Men’s Health, and in 2022 voted in as Chairman and interim Treasurer for the Charity. In 2023, I resigned as Chairman to take on the role of Project Coordinator. Mens Mental Health and Well-being is important to me as my life has had its fair share of struggles with both. I still have good and bad days like most people, but I find being open and talking about them has really helped me. For me, what is most important is spreading awareness around the importance of talking and sharing. A problem shared is a problem halved, and that is what this charity is all about
